Question is, how does it compare to the direct competitor, the Roccat Kone XTD?

Corsair Sabre RGB Laser Mice have an $69.99 MSRP (£64.99), the Sabre RGB Optical Mouse is listed at $59.99 MSRP (UK price N/A).
Scan appear to have the Optical at £49.99 - don't know if that's the UK MSRP though as Scan also have the Laser at £5 under MSRP.

Does look like Corsair have added a little bit of "tacky" to their hardware lately.

Yeah, is bright yellow *really* what gamers want?

So glad I got my K70 before the rebrand

they sure have- it`s just a meaningless squiggle and de-values corsair imho.
at least the three sails said `corsair`.
all this logo says to me is tacky, childish [it`s obviously aimed at twelve-year olds] rubbish.

I wonder if the **** who decided to remove the start button in w8 has now got a job at corsair?
