And now people need to vote with their wallets.
Don't like it? Don't buy it!
Do not buy it just because 'it's the new one' because they'll keep pumping this rubbish out otherwise...

Surprised it's taken this long. How do publishers expect people to buy into a franchise every year? You don't see a new GTA every year. AC has finally taken a year off before it folded, maybe it's time for CoD to do the same.
More specifically, or perhaps especially, don't pre-order. For heavens sake, wait for the bloomin reviews!
Dont worry about 'pre-order bonus' or additional content, if the pre-order content makes any significant difference to the game to the point where its necessary to enjoy it, the game cant be that good.
That's why I didn't buy Battlefront or Hardline or any COD since the first black ops (where they promised mod tools but never delivered).
Nothing but garbage....
That appalling cover of space oddity featured in the trailer did them no favors.
As for the game its just the same as Killzone is WW2 in space but nothing really sci-fi about it just tech upgrades with shinier looking equipment.
hehe the problem of launching every-year-new-game....you end up without having new ideas. BF4 came and we are still waiting for new one, Crysis 3 came and we are still waiting for version 4. COD should expand and give us a racing game...sort of!
I like KZ2 & 3 (my personal taste obviously, if you don't, no problem) and they are SciFi.... if you think otherwise you need to look up the definition of SciFi. It doesn't have to look like Star Trek to be SciFi... Star Wars is no more or less SciFi than KZ, or Deadspace, or even Doom.
I too don't pre-order, never worth it really. Wait for the reviews and the patches and make sure it runs properly... it was many many months before BF4 felt like it was running properly!!!
As for COD, its a bit like going to Mcdonalds and asking for a cheeseburger and then complaining its the same as the last time you had one....
I'm banking on COD4:Remastered being sold separately in time. I don't want Infinite warfare lol.
I haven't played any since MW3 and BF3, and they were bought in the sales.
Maybe this will serve to inspire a bit of effort to produce something worthy of the name, instead of little more than a map pack, in the future.
Me too! COD4 was probably the most fun I've had with an FPS, regardless of what people say!
I'd pay £25+ for a properly remastered version, hi res textures and for them not to fiddle around with the game too much!
I don't want the class system changed, I liked the way levels unlocked things. Give me all the maps from the start and do not bother with any additional DLC for it please, save that for Infinite Warfare.

Problem is not the title and the core game genre... the problem is that the publishers and game makers is starting to alienate their clients by making too many changes, people like old fashioned in a figure of speech and a game that identify to what they first fell in love with... a good example could be EA Starwars Battlefront it might have sold well but there is so many pissed off people that it hurt.

COD seems to look more like HALO these days and as for HALO, ... God knows where that game is headed!
So people are disliking since they decided to make the game a bit different??
I think this article sums it up:
