Before I built the system I mentioned above, I did a lot of searching and could not find a slime line 600w PSU and mini-ITX case combo for a decent price. Maybe you could post a few of these less expensive combo's to help our tech friends out.

They could have done something special with this but ended up with this. Im sure there are htpc case that are more compact and offer more cooling options.

Ncase M1 is very cool. Comes out to about $300 with an SFX power supply, but it can also accept ATX power supplies. Even at $300, it's still cooler than this corsair thing.

Lian-Lipc-q08
I have a pretty rare red PC-Q08 and I love it. I use it as a server with lots of hd's but it can be set up with a massive video card. Layout is limited on cpu cooling, but I always use stock cpu coolers anyway.

If I were going to build a new mini-ITX box, i'd probably get one of these. very nice case and no optical drive bay.

For a little gaming box, these look very cool. Not usually a fan of windowed cases, but this one I like.

You did make a good choice. The EVGA case is very nice and I like it a lot more than this new corsair thing. I use EVGA power supplies in all of my systems.

I've got a Fractal Node 304 in my sitting room. Watercooled CPU, ASUS Strix 980 GPU. It's a tight fit but fairly compact. If you're willing to drop down to a mini 970, you could easily build a living room machine round a Node 202 or a Cooler Master Elite 110, both of which are under 12 litres capacity.

If you can fit full size components in your home theater like receivers and such, get a full size ATX HTPC case. As for wife acceptance factor, the Lian-Li PC-C60 looks fantastic, Can fit full size motherboards, atx power supplies, has room for a ton of hard drives, has a lot of cooling, and can fit 370mm video cards. I have one in my home theater and I love it. It's a black monolith with a blinking red light. I never plug in power led's because they're useless light pollution.
