Frameless in much the same way as most house windows are frameless.

I like the large piece of metal blocking the airflow!

Not for me then.contains RGB strips.
I wonder if the frames really are "hewn" from aluminium, which implies milling from a block (very wasteful and expensive) or if they are fabricated from strip (like windoe frames) or cast?

in the "metal" they look neat.... have to say. I'm ignoring the RGB component, as I have'n tplayed with it yet......just focussed on the fan and controller design. Shape and form they look nice.

That is not how you design a fan. Tip vortices are a bad thing, and should not be encouraged. You are also meant to encourage a consistent inflow velocity, and the classic "spider" supporting the hub does a much better job of that
Aluminium for the frame is an odd choice - the high Tm is hard on dies, so zinc or similar should be a lot cheaper. I predict these will perform measurably worse than fans that cost 1/3rd as much, but the poor design decisions won't have a big enough effect on performance to stop people buying them
Well, when the blurb concentrates on the "built in lighting themes" it is clear that any cooling performance must be a secondary consideration

Can we point and laugh at anyone that buys this?
They could be bundled with "Oxygen free copper" speaker cables, Gold plated Fibre TosLink cables and Premium HDMI cables.
However, to be serious, I would be interested to see how they really do perform (as coolers, not bling devices) in the real world, compared with some of the standard type fans from the likes of Noctua or BeQuiet (or even cheap generic fans)

37dB for just 56CFM (about 95m³/h) renders anything else about this absolutely pointless...!!
Cool looks, but still has to perform well.
It should match up well with this Deepcool case:

One of these days,I might just build a secondary rig and see how much RGB I can chuck in it,and then use it instead of a Christmas tree!!
I wonder if I could get sponsorship for a maximum RGB rig??
Ade slaps Cat! But hey each to their own!
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
/facepalm
1) has frame
2) has worse frame
