    YouTube Music launched, will replace Google Play Music

    Coincides with YouTube Red becoming YouTube Premium (includes YouTube Music).

    Google Play Music is a bit of a rubbish app anyhoo - the default Samsung player does a better job imho

    I assume they mean that "their" music will require subscription. Can't imagine them charging you to listen to music you own.

    Still buying, and keeping, my music. Not on iTunes either.

    Good luck to everyone who wants to be told how, when and where they can listen to their music. Not my thing.

    I use Amazon music - simple to use and Ive discovered and listened to music I would have otherwise missed.

    I never liked google play music, spotify was the easiest , with the largest music library, auto car mode and auto shazam-spotify .For youtube music you can always use youtube vanced.

    I'm not sure there's any need to resurrect a thread from 2.5 years ago. I think this has happened by now and literally the guy you're responding to has died in the intervening period.
