I live about 10 minutes outside of Liverpool city centre so my coverage is great, good calls and 4G 24/7!
Not the same story if I go anywhere remotely nice for a day out though!
I think the toilet at work has been turned into a Faraday cage, possibly to ensure as little time spent sat on the bog surfing Facebook as possible.

My phonecall drops if i enter the balcony at work.. that great...I have connection both inside and on the balcony but it just drops when i transition... Or when using the train between 2 cities i enter 2 forests, again, connection drops completely...
Rubbish connection where I live (SW Scotland). Lucky if you can get any sort of CELL signal and 4G is just in my dreams. No Fibre either, so pretty much have to use smoke signals at times!

Well when Virgin used the EE network it was pretty good in a majority of places I go (South England), however since they've gone with their own hardware? Rubbish. So much so I'm switching to EE, even if it means I'm paying more.
The internet on my phone is faster and more reliable than my broadband.
Generally quite good on Three. The only thing that frustrates me is that when travelling via train, the signal constantly dips and troughs on my route to work!
not too bad at home 20-30 up/down* and on the way to the nearest town, but on the train it varies from 4G to literally nothing (i live in the very north of Scotland)
the 'broadband' connection is 2 down and about 0.5 up

Excellent signal in most of the country with EE, and typically great data speeds. There is a reason they are still the only network I would consider in the UK.
Pretty poor with Three. Hover between 1 and 0 bars. Sometimes have to resend texts as they fail to make it out 1st time. I have to have an O2 phone as a backup.
Vodafone RO: Coverage is very good, I even have coverage when I go to mountains, seaside, whatever. Speeds are great also. 25mbps on hspa+ and 150mpbs+ on 4g. I pay 5 euros for 50GB of trafic per month.
I'm in Finland, with Moi Mobiili on the DNA network - pretty much everywhere in the south is fast 4G, more or less regardless of network. Plenty of infrastructure work gone in to the 4G and upcoming 5G networks here due to the large area with overall sparse population meaning it's a more efficient strategy for home broadband than copper lines, as well as mobile usage. City coverage is excellent in Helsinki, hits advertised speeds easily indoors too.
My contract is cheap here at 6€ per month, with no included calls etc, no extras and no tie-in period at all.
However, it is restricted to a "slow" 100Mbps and has a 4GB download limit before you pay more for the rest, but at the moment it's a winner for me.
All fine here, not far from Manchester city centre with TPO (3 MVNO).
What I find odd is that sometime on Gifffaff (O2 MVNO), connection on 4G isn't quite as stable as I would think. In terms of number of bars, it really depends on where I am, and even which room I am in the flat.
Generally speaking, I still find Tokyo to offer me better coverage than London. In Luanda, the speed isn't great, but it is sometime more stable than cable (broadband).
(I move around a lot, so different countries different experience)
