Not me - it's another Android phone which doesn't suit me. But I’m sure it is very capable - at $800/$900 it needs to be! (but that does include a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter!)I’ve already received two emails from UK mobile phone companies offering pre-order and contract deals with the Pixel 3/XL. Are any HEXUS readers interested in these new generation Google Pixel smartphones?

My broadband speed - 750 Meganibbles/minute
Meh.
Well that just priced me out...
Double Meh!
My £380 LG G7 has arguably better hardware features, probably has around 90% of the user experience and yet only cost 50% of the price of Pixel. Plus when Treble or Lineage roms become widely available will have a software experience almost on a par with it. At £739 for the base model they're putting themselves on a par with Apple but don't have the brand recognition, desirability or customer support to back it up. This will be another year of low sales volumes for Pixel devices me thinks, better of getting one 6 months when prices have come down or there are cheaper 2nd hand ones available.
Think I'll stick quite happily with the P20 Pro i have...
you could buy a nice pc for that price :/
I thought the Pixel 2 xl was expensive but this is just crazy. I am very happy with my Pixel 2 Xl but if the price keeps increasing I will need a second mortgage for my next phone! I will be keeping my current phone for minimum 3 years. The screen size options are off as well IMHO. I am happy with 6inch screen but going even larger again might be to far and 5.5 would seem small for me now.
I checked the upgrade date on my S8 just to see how old it's getting and I can upgrade in May which was an absolute shock. It still feels as new and I've frankly no desire for an upgrade (although I'm very interested to see how the new AI augmented cameras such as on the P20 pro develop) as there's nothing around that offers a significant upgrade on what I have. The only thing that I wish it had is better battery life and I still can't see any of the newer devices giving me all day battery. I also got it for substantially less than the prevailing RRP (40% off) when it was only a couple of months or so old. The phone industry is in a period of evolution where manufacturers know what works and any improvements upon the existing formula come at incredible cost for relatively minor improvements. End result is older phones or mid rangers are now seriously good and you pay a lot for a little. It also means manufacturers are desperate to bring in the next big thing (Samsung = Bixby, Huawei = AI camera) and some of these are hits and some are misses.
That absurd notch, those big bezels, the £100 premium for an extra 64gb storage?
Come off it.
Apple-grade grossly overpriced meh. And they're late to the Snapdragon 845 party, 850 (or whatever the number will be) is only around the corner. And barring the speakers, the rest of the hardware is remarkably mediocre. Oh, and still no headphone jack.

So a notch and a chin not water proof all for the great price of $900 glad I got my iphone xs with less inbuilt spyware
