    Now that's what I'd call a mid-range PC.

I can't be the only one who'd be a little concerned over the GPU PCB being visibly concave.

Re: Scan 3XS Vengeance RTX Ti

Scan are not to blame for this, the blame lies completely with Nvidia and Intel, but this build is almost like a parody, a joke! Two of the worst value components I have seen in a long time put together to create an even worse value PC. It makes my build actually seem like a sensible and wise investment! When will the madness end? A top end gaming build used to cost around 1k and I believe even today it should not exceed 2k, but here we are at an eye watering 3.5k for something that's not even that impressive. Maybe it's all a conspiracy to push us all on to consoles, because it might actually work if this carries on into the next gen, and I mean the real next gen, when stuff like RTX actually works properly, not this half way house stuff we have now, which makes the price even more shocking.

what I take from the CPU cooling is that you need a 480mm rad to cool it effectively.

That would make some kind of sense looking at the configuration - assuming there's a fan grill beneath, it would suck air in from beneath the PC, which would hopefully be cooler than the ambient air in the case.

It looks like it's orientated with the fan pointing up...unless Corsair puts its stickers on upside down?

Would have been tempted if it was under £3395, but as it is, too expensive for me.

Considering the power consumption and temps it's pretty quiet! For that price think I'd want a nicer looking cab.

The branding on the side of the PSU is upside down so, probably reasonable to assume the PSU is mounted upside down, as is preferable.

Depends on the radiator, fans and the fan profile. I'd suggest that perhaps for 5GHz across all cores, that the custom fan profile used for this is definitely not suitable for warmer weather. Even in cooler weather I'd be inclined to either up the fans or lower the overclock.

I see we're taking a page from the gaming laptop playbook when it comes to pricing. Christ on a bike..

You could build a 2700X/1080TI system for 1/3rd the price btw.

Take comfort in that if it was an Apple product it would probably be nearer £7000.

Get with the program. This is the ultimate in E-Peen. It's not true E-Peen unless it's hideously priced and collapsing under its own weight. Anything else is distinctly not "high end".
