INTEL FANBOY TROLL ALERT.Anyone with a passing interest in high-performance desktop computing can't help but be impressed with the performance of AMD's Ryzen Threadripper CPUs. Offering up to a massive 32 cores and 64 threads in one package, there's simply nothing faster.

Being serious, I do like the construction with the heat pipes. It should be decent for the price but my last cooler with heat pipes like that was an Arctic Freezer 7 pro and the finish was... a little less premium.
Also, I would personally expect to buy my own paste assuming whatever is going to be supplied won't be as good so having just enough for a single application I think is probably pushing critique a little too far. Most people will fit once and that's them done for quite some time.
Given it's near AIO territory, a comparison to a liquid cooler of similar price would have been useful and interesting.
Because we really want one that "dials" like a Stargate when power is applied, but no-one does one of those so this will have to do.

Windows 10 got rid of the boot options menu (and therefore boot access to safe mode) for a few hundred milliseconds extra boot speed. I think if you required a supercomputer, a mountain base and a chap calling out chevrons to boot up then they'd get very upset indeed.
It would however be a far cooler and more dramatic way to boot although I expect anyone sat too close to the monitor being vapourised in an unstable vortex would not go down well with the health and safety executive.
On an Intel HEDT machine it could give time for that big fridge to get down to temperature and make the mountain tops around your stargate all frosty looking

I'd pay a premium for one of those, RGB on TR4, not so much.

Quite handy that the Stargate is made of a superconductor so Intel could use their supercooling nitrogen stuff that they need to keep the processor from turning Earth into a small sun and it'd still work.On an Intel HEDT machine it could give time for that big fridge to get down to temperature and make the mountain tops around your stargate all frosty looking

Because if you can put a sheet of angled glass inside the case to project a wormhole startup splash onto so it looks like a wormhole bubbles into your case then it would be the first genuine reason I would have seen for having a windowed caseWhy do I all of a sudden want a Stargate CPU Cooler....
This is making me wonder if with a bit of 3D printing and an Arduino I can make a USB controlled model Stargate. The Chevrons might be tricky to make work. Sadly I've got too much on, so don't see me getting the time to try...

Those things take forever to dial in... and even longer if the Earthers are doing it.
Technically while the 7th chevron is the point of origin for intra-galactic travel that specific symbol represents earth, or the tou'ri.
