Give me RX 580 / 1060 6Gb performance in a LP card and I'll happily buy it if it's less than £200
So... this is how NVidia innovates? 5800/5900 AMD cards need to get here soon, NVidia needs help getting out of bed.
This seems completely pointless to me, unless we get 1660Ti performance at 1660 prices, i.e. around £50-£60 cheaper. Knowing NVidia, they'll just price it not far off the 1660Ti and then phase that out, leaving us with a new product that is not really any better, or much cheaper.
Jeez this is so underwhelming
Hmm although it would be an upgrade, it probably won't be good enough (it'll be slightly below the ti?) which means I have to keep my 970 running for a bit longer.
I concur that AMD really needs to bring out the big guns but for now they're both pricing in a way which is reminiscent of the RRP during the crypto mining craze.
So is the general consensus that this is mostly not worth the wait?
