Compatible with Windows 10 and Linux, but you will have to pay more for >1GB RAM.

"You would need to buy a Rock Pi X with at least 2GB of RAM for Windows 10 64-bit" - Where did you get this from? I've got a Tesco connect 7" tablet with the slower Z3735G (the z8300 predecesor) and 1Gb of RAM and windows 10 runs fine (but slow).

This basically is the board from a budget Windows tablet without the screen or eMMC.
    Trust

    Laptop : Dell Inspiron 1545 with Ryzen 5500u, 16gb and 256 NVMe, Windows 11.

it'll be 32 bit if it's 1gb ram as you need 2gb ram minimum for 64 bit win10

Is it running 64bit though... pretty sure 32bit can run on 1GB but as they said 2GB for 64bit... not that I'd want to run it with that low amount of ram.

Shame the board doesn't have some way to hook up hard drives (other than usb), this could be the base of a nas or media pc....

Hmm you're probably both right. I set it up about 4 years ago! I remember having great fun getting a fresh install from USB!

IIRC MS increased the recommended specs for windows 10 on one of the major updates, from 1gb to 2gb. I believe, but wouldn't swear to it, that it was 1803 because i think my tablet is still on 1709.

Your better off running Win10 32 bit at 2GB ram.
Mind you for a Windows tablet it might be better
to run the OS from the microUSB csrd. Since the SSD
    is 32GB.

I didn't know this was doable, how'd you do that? Does the MicroSD card just show as another drive when installing windows?
