Seems like some very cool tech and I'm exceedingly interested.
But what happens if you accidentally put the lens in upside down? It's not like you can simply rotate it round and straighten out your HUD while you're driving, right?
What if you need glasses - Will these also correct your vision?
Presumably this will end up being bought out by big companies like Google and Farcebook, who will then flood your vision with adverts all over the place...?
"Furthermore, they can pump out 5x to 10x brightness compared to OLED alternatives"
OK, so a skilled hacker can make them flash or strobe and utterly blind you... Gonna be great while driving.
Oh, and they have a battery... which I'm sure can be hacked to feedback and explode or something, right next to your eyeballs!!
In fact, the more I think about all this, the more I have the plot for a near-future cyberpunk action-thriller... it's akin to both The Expanse and Strange Days in feel and tone, so if anyone has Kathryn Bigelow's number, please let me know!!

Dean Takahashi of course it would be that idiot pushing this.
People do not want to wear contact lenses for stuff like this, nothing this devices claims isn't possible with AR glasses which are still in early first generation phase like smartphones of the early 2000's.
A lot of PR hype fed to clueless and willing so called journalists. The Mojo website is pure PR rubbish in the worst form, nothing of substance.
I rub and fuss with my eyes way too much to use contacts, but a lot of people prefer them over glasses. With glasses, there's a window effect from the frames, distortion from the lenses, lenses fog in the cold and just suck in the rain, and then there's the general inconvenience of having something on your face. I personally hate even the idea of having something sitting directly on my eyes, so contact lenses seem like a bad idea to me, but lots of people use them just for cosmetic purposes, let alone all the ways a HUD could be super practical and useful.
Long term, I think implants would be the way to go, but we're a long ways off on that.
Speaking of substance... anything to back up what you've just said or just insults? Quite happy to accept a different perspective but what I read is like this:
Banana banana, of course it would be this banana pushing this.
I make assumptions on others based on my opinions. I can do this another way, so it must be rubbish. But it's early days so it must all be rubbish.
I think this is hype but I'm not willing to substantiate why and so I'll insult the person reporting as a so-called banana. I thought their website was hype and rubbish so I'll state it as fact with no supporting evidence. Because I bananananana.
If you're going to insult everyone in sight, at least have a reason, other than being a "so-called poster".
Tl;dr = citation needed.
To the rational commentary:
As someone who is already a cyborg and has a rechargeable battery implanted next to important bits, I'd say I wouldn't mind the eye battery as long as it has similar safeguards. Mine is several safeguards and is also in a laser sealed titanium can which will contain a lot of failures. As for hacking, medical devices have definitely been vulnerable to this but we are applying cybersecurity updates to a lot of wireless devices. Traditionally, the safeguards have been the operational range as well as handshakes, etc. Device manufacturers are far better at controlling for this kind of thing now. I certainly don't worry about people hacking my implant and blowing it up. I think the biggest risk there is mobile phones. That's a lot of energy next to family jewel central and if there was a real desire to burn / seriously injure people, I suspect we'd have seen this by now.
