No thermal paste is a bit of a head scratcher.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
What happened with the Corsair Hydro results on the overclocks and what is the perfomance like with dual fans?
Like many, I've always had preferences on TIM anyway. Geilid, Ectotherm, Arctic Silver, all the other own-brand of little tubes you get... Never used them. I've always had a big tube of MX2/4 or Thermal Grizzly to hand.

My Opteron CPU ran most of its life with a nice heatpipe cooler on it, and at substantial higher than stock speeds, and with fan noise i was pretty happy about.
I think that complaining about not having spare paste on a bargain basement product is harsh. For a top of the range one, I'd expect them to have done R&D and enclosed a decent tube of what worked best. For something like this, I'm buying bargain basement and it comes with paste applied, so what's the problem? My priority if buying this is keeping the cost down as low as possible, so I actively don't want extras. Especially extras that are just going to get forgotten about in the bottom of a drawer.
I had one of these keep my old 4690K, overclocked to 4.8Ghz, nice & cool for 5yrs without missing a beat.
Damn good coolers for the money. It's why upgraded to the Dark Rock 4 to cool my new 9900K rig.
Would have been a better review in my book to compare this to others around the same price bracket. I opted after reading various review for the Artic E34 sports duo which was £34.00.
Had great reviews across the board and comes with two fans , different colours available too. Well pleased with my purchase.
Personally, I can't abide the RGB, blingy gaudiness of so many products and builds these days. I long for the day when more manufacturers, like be quiet!, produce such effective, efficient goods which have some element of design aesthetic about them. Why make everything like some teenage fanboy's wall decorations?

It's supposed to be a decent stock cooler so be worth seeing if it is worth spending even £34 these days on a different cooler.
