I shudder at the potential price of it - hopefully the near RTX2080TI pricing isn't true(yes,I am sure its faster than the RTX2080TI).
One user benchmark, with no mention of the system configuration used... Ho hum.
I'm sure people are leaking this stuff on purpose, why would anyone in a decent enough position to have hands on one of these be stupid enough to post them in a public place?
GA102 24GB (RTX 3090): 0x2204 - now that is more like what I was expecting (and ideally want, it's the memory, not the overall performance).... now to go look into my local body part removal service to see how much I'll need to remove to pay for it...
I just Hope the XX70 Card comes with 10GB VRAM.
the 3090 would have interest here to be honest... huge interest, but only if as well made as the last actual 90... the 690... I still got that card.. it runs almost as same specs as the 680 just 2x... not like the later on Titan failure, in my head that is.
Either way the 690 I had lasted all the way to 1080ti for me and never have I ever had any better piece of hardware from team green than that one, though double the cost, but half the space as how 2x 680ish would be like.
But I expect the same failure unfortunately -_-
yes that was an interesting card. I could only dream of affording one, but it did seem a nice way of getting SLI without the SLI. speaking of which can we assume no SLI on the cards < x070 super again?

They've moved to 'nvlink' which has at least 2 different connectors, geforce have less lanes than the quadro but honestly not really going to notice the difference in most cases. NVLink basically 'merges' the 2 cards if the software supports it and you can double your gpu memory with 2 cards for example.
They still label it as sli on gaming cards but it's not really supported in games as much now.
Sales figure, probably higher than we'd like so they bring the prices down.... nvidia profit from each of said cards, stupidly high lol
Opinions: do you think a top card in the next NVidia/AMD ranges is going to see its owner through the time period covering this console gen, given that this card would be comfortably better than any console and the consoles are targeting 4K? Or is it going to be a better idea to wait for 2011/12?
It'll be interesting to see how many console games really are true 4K rather than rendered at a lower res & upscaled. Also, the frame-rates at 4K too. Although there are TVs that support 120Hz @ 4k res just coming on the market, it'll be a while before they are a large market segment.
