Any idea on UK pricing, or will it be effectively $1 = £1 again?
The only thing this is going to do is render expensive 2080's, 2070's and 2060's as poor choices and slash the used prices
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Isn't that more or less a 5700XT lol?an RTX 2080 Super beating GPU with 8GB of VRAM for under US$400
This feels more like the sweet spot for power/performance for this GPU / process. 200W is getting sensible.
Seems more of a xx70 series chip than a xx60, maybe they were originally going to be 3070s before NVidia were forced to reposition in response to AMD cards?
I think AMD will take over the crown.
Nice performance if true, it just feels about £50-100 (we all know it will be £400) too much....
£400 for what is essentially an entry-level card. Depressing.
I'm not blaming Nvidia especially.
Well...Maybe just a little bit.
What's 'entry-level' about it in your view? It looks like it's performing at the level of the 2080 Super, which was right near the top of the tree up till recently. It'll do 1440p at max settings most likely, and there will be a whole suit of cards further down the stack.
