    NVIDIA Quad-SLI Intro Analysis

To begin with, Quad SLI means a new board SKU in order to get four NVIDIA GPUs working in your system. Called the GeForce 7900 GX2, the new board occupies just one PEG16X slot, but marries two PCBs - each with a G71 GPU and 512MiB of memory - in dual-slot configuration to do 2-GPU SLI on a single board product.

Absolutley crazy specs on paper even though theoretical would be a great technical achievment if they were near enough to that

You'd have to be keen to pay for this now with (dual core?) G80 on the horizon

gfx cards are limited by the cpu speed anyway, why bother making them faster

thats how nivdia/ ati realized that they need to process physics if the cpu is not good enough for it

I will be waiting for the R600 or G80 which I hope will be more than powerful enough because my next comp is going to be the same as this with different mobo/graphics card(s)
