    HEXUS.reviews :: NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT

    Ready to check out the full-G71-sporting, 550/700-clocked, 512MiB-carrying, HDCP-protected, supposedly quiet new NVIDIA assault on the top end of the mid-range? Hold on to your tighty whiteys then, pixel fans, as we do just that.

    Good performance at the price. Scan has these pegged at £210 for the 512mb version.

    I have a Vf900 ****al1ty thing going spare too. Very tempted to buy one, slap that on and clock it.

    The article says the image quality arguments between ati and nvidia are well known. I have been living under a rock for the past year or so so don't know about it, does anyone have a link to a good article on the subject. I am worried that if I just google I will end up with an article written by someone who doesnt know what they are talking about.

    anything from anandtech, beyond3d, bjorn3D, xbitlabs (ok.. maybe a little biased), hardOCP, bit-tech are pretty ok.. most of them are just referring to the lousy shimmering the early 7 series have (6 series too), most of which have been partially solved tho the shimmering is still there.. and the lack of cutting-edge anistrophic filtering ala ATI's HQ AF..
