Charlie White's come up with a way to work around the share-once restriction on Microsoft's Zune media player though, like the restriction itself, the work-around is a pain.

Doh!
The work around is hardly a bit of clever hacking of the cypto, more like holding down shift when you insert a DRM infested CD in your PC.
I normally think it is a good thing when pointless DRM is cracked, but in this case the security is so weak M$ will probably put out a compulsory patch very soon, will do a proper job this time.

Dont support DRM by buying this device. They have taken it too far.
My mates geting one. Just like he got a £1500 alienware that under performs my brothers £400 self-build. Just like he got an i-pod thats only designed to last a year. They never listen. More money than sense.
With love and many thanks,
Melons
its a YACSPD!, (yet another crap single purpose device)
i hate divergent crud, i will stick with my PPC (pocket PC), sure its not as small as a nano, but it means i dont have to carry around a, PSP, DMP (digital music player), GPS, video player, and alot of other things.....
and dont get me started on the crud resolution and tiny screens on those so called "video" music players [/rant]
