    Nokia 6233

Anyone got a Nokia 6233, if so how do you rate it?

I'm pretty worried about going to the new interface style after years with the old-faithful 6230i
Also, does anyone know of an adapter for the old 6100 series car kit? My current adapter for the 6230i won;t fit the popport since it has 2 prongs that locate the phone, one on either side of the port, and the 6233 doesn't have these holes.

They are nice phones, a marked improvement on the 6280, wish I'd never got that phone now, worse Nokia phone I have ever had.

I would have thought the bay of e would solve your second problem

I'm just about to take delivery of a 6234, I'll let you know what it's like tomorrow.

I'm the same, my trusty 6230 had an unfortunate incident with a soya latte, and now i cna't use the cancel/back button.

Upgrade came in over the weekend so I'm waiting for the delivery tomorrow.

I have one which I use from time to time, along with an e65 and 8800.

The User Interface (Series 40 V4 I believe) is definitley where its at. I would consider waiting for the 6500 Classic if I were you though, or if you feel flash, something like the 8600 Luna is a very nice phone.

I have to say I lived with the 6233 for the weekend and today phoned to swap it out, it's just too fat and heavy. Sure it's got a years battery life (in good signal areas) and the interface is sooo much quicker than the slow-as-****e version on the wifes N73 but it's too fat for my pocket... it looks like a permanent *shwinggg* Also I can hear a distorted echo of my own voice in it (The deliberate echo so you don't speak slowly, not one off the line).

A 6300 arrives in the morning. Basically the same phone but with out the popport and 6.3mm thinner (39% less volume)
