    Best software for windows mobile

So, I've got my tytn ii, and I want to have a bit of a play. What are the best bits of software out there for it? Any essential tweaks? I've never done reflashing, mine is the T-Mobile branded Vario III.

I know you can pick up freeware from various sites but a lot of it seems a bit amatuerish and I don't really like having 'rubbish' on my phone .

    Thanks

eta: and what would be brilliant is some kind of answer machine software that can answer the phone after two rings or so with a pre-recorded message and have a message recorded and left on my phone, where it can be organised a bit better than phoning t-mobile's thing (most people don't even bother leaving a message on there anyway which is a bit annoying)

Problem is the kaiser does a lot of these things out the box :/

I haven't got TomTom, don't know where to get the software from! Wasn't included with mine

And all the games are a bit heavy, I used to have x-com TFTD (works really well actually) but for mobiles you want something more like snake, or peggle.

I might get a demo, the kaiser already has quite a nice home screen but thanks

One thing I need to get actually is Skype.

Re: Best software for windows mobile

I'm just getting SPB Plus (It's a new version of everything i think?) trial version installed.

I'll let you know how it goes :-)

What I really want / need is an application that I can use as a voicemail. Basically, at the minute T-Mobile picks up my voicemail. I want my phone to do that, with a personalized message, and have the recorded messages saved in a folder next to messages.

If it hasn't been done yet, it will be soon...

Re: Best software for windows mobile

Ok, really didn't like it. Basically it doesn't work with the skinned Kaiser shell, and even with what I saw of it, it wasn't as 'integrated' as I'd have liked it to be. The nice thing about HTCs UI is that it's very intuitive and easy to use. A bit of a rip of of the iPhone philosophy no doubt but it's not wrong to use good ideas, in fact it drives the market forward!

I use Photocontacts Pro - Improved Contacts List
SPB Shell - Tidies up the Today Screen
SPB Diary is also a good addition.
My Mobilier allows you to view your PDA screen on your PC

Just some of what I use
