HTC TyTn II / MDA Vario - What's it worth?

Just got one on a new contract with T-mobile on Friday. I can't get used to it at all. I'm thinking of selling it and getting something different. What're these worth?

I think they're going for around £300 on eBay. I've seen a few local sellers on gumtree asking about the same.

Surprised your not getting on with it, do you find it slow or do you not like the PDA like nature of the phone? Might be worth you flashing it to windows mobile 6.1, it is so so much better then the stock t-mobile firmware.

Also what digit suggested may get you more for it if you do decide to sell - Windows Mobile vs custom operator firmware, I know which I'll choose every day of the week.

Bit of both TBH. Assuming I did flash it to WM6.1 is it relativly trivial to reflash it back to the stock T-Mobile settings if I decided to sell it on Ebay etc?

Yeah it is relatively easy to flash it, but to be honest it will make it more attractive to a buyer if it has windows mobile 6.1 installed. Possibly people will pay for it as well, although people on xda developers havent been happy about auctions containing phones with roms released from them being sold on for a massive profit...

Think some of the flashers also unlock the phoe to all networks.

What about warranty though? If you sell it with stock firmware, will the buyer get the benefit of the warranty, cos they may not if you flash it.

Aye, agree with above post - if you're selling it then best to leave it stock (or return it to stock condition as best you can). People don't want something you've fiddled about with!
