    Radio Streaming Android app

There's an online radio station I want to listen to on my desire HD, and I can type the url of the stream into the browser and it will play, however I can't then go off that page or lock the phone or the stream stops. Does anyone know an app I can download that will simply let me type in the url of the stream and play it whilst the phone is locked?

I found a few paid for ones, but they all seem the give you access to 100s of other stations which I assume is what you pay for, and I really don't care about them, so I just want a free one if possible.

Depending on how this online radio station streams, I find most .pls stations will play with an app called StreamFurious

I've tried that but the free version doesn't let you type custom URLS unfortunately :/ As far as I can see, the only things you can listen to with the free version are the preset stations on it.

You can with the free version, when you install the app, go to the site with the .pls link and then click it, it should then ask you which app you want to open it with. This is what I have done with around 12 other stations and it will remember them and add them to your list.

    EDIT:

Just thinking, do you want to pm me the link for the station you are trying to listen to and I will test it on StreamFurious this end and see if its compatible.

Seems to work most the time but there are more streams now streaming in other formats other than .pls files. As long as it uses .pls it should work
