    Nokia N900 successor or alternative?

Has anyone heard about a Nokia N900 successor?

I've seen photo-shopped N920s (all fake thus far), but I can't seem to find any real info on the n900's successor. The earlier tablets (n800 etc) seemed to have fairly long product lifetimes, but I would have hoped with MeGoo on the near horizon, that Nokia would have started dropping hints by now?

Any info would be appreciated as I'm about to sign up to a new contract, and I can't see any alternatives which offer a customisable linux OS. I'm particularly keen on the terminal, compatibility with a lot of deb packages and physical keyboard offered by the n900.

    TIA

Well, you'll be lucky on the deb front since Meego uses RPMs.

In answer to your question I've not seen anything yet and I'm watching fairly keenly as well.
Physical keyboard and xterm are my main priorities also.
Having said that the N900 is still serving me well for exactly that so no rush to upgrade yet for me.
