Indeed, I have the Milestone 2, its an awesome phone, but does tend towards the brick like, but i wanted the proper qwerty keyboard for extended typing use, so I was somewhat limited in choice.

Aye, I've heard some refer to that device as the "Motorola Millstone" Which I thought was a bit unfair - okay, it's 50% deeper than iPhone4 and about 25% heavier, but in other respects they're comparable. And the MM's got the keyboard, which I guess accounts for some of the differences.

Personally, I quite like a little bit of heft - makes it easier to figure out which pocket I've put the damned thing in

That Atrix doesn't have the MM's keyboard, but if you're concerned about size then I've just checked and Atrix is slightly larger/wider/deeper than iPhone4, but it's 2 grams lighter!

    That is:
    Atrix: 10.1mm x 117.8 x 63.5 and 135g
    iPhone4: 9.3mm x 115.2 x 58.6 and 137g

Like I said, I quite fancy the Atrix as a replacement for my SE Experiment, sorry "Xperia", X10.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

I find it perfectly acceptable, people complaining its too heavy are obviously weak limbed girls.

If you dont want a keyboard, theres plenty of other phones that are lighter.

It might be 50% deeper and 25% heavier than an iPhone 4, but it has one advantage, its 100% non-Apple, so you dont look like a fruit (or sheep) for owning one.
