Do I have a right to?... (iphone case)

I got an iPhone 4 last October, whilst in the shop I also purchased a bumper (cost me £18 iirc) I didin't want to spend £18 but it needed some protection and I had fron+back screen protectors already.

Now bearing in mind this item was exclusive to Vodafone and contained no warning that damages like this could happen, well I found nothing on/in the packaging to believe so.

I work in a supermarket and I'm out and about fairly often, I usually wipe the phone down, but generally have no reason to take the bumper off. At the end of January I had a reason to take it off, because it had been damaged at the bottom, I just wanted to make sure the crack at the bottom wasn't serious or if it had damaged the phone. I've only got round to chasing this down now, because a few people said I should complain to Vodafone and request a repair. So here the current state of the top/side/bottom of the phone now thanks to a Gear4 Bumper.

Do I have any grounds to complain? Am I right to do so considering I never considered taking the bumper off to get any dirt out from with in?

Depends how hard you fight. My mate had an iPhone 4 case that covered the back, and because it wasn't a truly tight fit, or truly rigid, it allowed bits of dirt and debris to get between the phone and the case and absolutely ruined the back of the phone.

Neither O2 or Gear 4 wanted to know anything about it...
