I wasnt saying to go CustomROM route merely saying that mine already had TWlauncher prebuilt on one of the ROMs im trying and its fairly good .

Regardless of launchers i think it needs to be asked, why are you getting an O2x? In my experience the "stock" rom is terrible and useless, CustomRoms are the only way to make the phone a solid experience . However LG seems to be working on their next release very well, loads of fixes and improvements but that wont be out for another month or so i suspect (the leaked version is out for custom roms though).

Go launcher and cyanogen mod 7.1... it turned my htc legend into a phone that still cuts the mustard

The stock Gingerbread update is definitely an improvement over the old stock froyo. I think I'll probably soldier on with the stock ROM until my contract's up in August - then if I brick it putting a custom rom on it I'll just get a new phone

That said, I think it's a long way from a perfect Android phone and it's probably not the one I'd choose if I was getting a new phone now...

    Bet you I could

Of course I know that really, it's more the faff of picking a rom and getting the appropriate recovery image etc. Yes, I'm very lazy, but frankly I have better things to do with my life than mess with my phone when it already works and does everything I need it to.
