Galaxy Nexus vs Galaxy II

These phones are almost identical, but with the Nexus having a slightly bigger screen and the S2 having a slightly better GPU it seems.

I use my phone for;

Heavy Texting
Internet browsing
Youtube
SatNav
Rarely Facebook etc
general playing with.


I am torn between both phones. The Nexus S seems to be around £60-70 more (I am looking at buying nearly new/second hand pay&go with giffgaff tariff).

My contract also runs out in 2 months time, is there likely to be much of a price crash for either anytime soon? - Galaxy 3 out in the the next few months...


I am leanign towards the Nexus but before I make any decisions can anyone offer any advice?

Not really no, with cloud being round the corner and 80% of my phone currently being full of crap....

Then get the GN imo, better screen and it looks much better. The SII is a bit old now tbh

For your needs either will do. They are very similar handsets.

I have galaxy s2 with 2.2.3 and my bro has a nexus with ice cream update. I prefer my galaxy for the screen size alone. Plus ice cream update is out in the next few weeks for G2.

Get whichever is cheapest.
