    Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition

already own 32GB HP Touchpad with CM9, but seen that moto for £149 new and it's tempting to pick one up as a "secondary" tablet, as it is smaller and lighter.

not looking to replace TP, but more of an additional device to play with.

Any owners/users out there that would recommend to buy it or avoid?

Motorola has sort of abandoned it in terms of software support/they're really slow with updates. I've currently got the Xoom but had to flash to US ROM to get my ICS and JB on time. Personally I don't think the Xoom 2 is worth it, you may as well folk out for the Nexus 7.

Which ever tablet you buy or anyone else, always make sure it fits your needs. I.e. I also have the original xoom, but with the xoom 2, there is no micro sd slot, which for me is great as I have many ebooks, pdf magazines, and quite a few videos. As above Motorola took forever and a day to get ICS to us, only able to upgrade mine a few weeks back.

Have to say I would recommend the Nexus 7 over the Xoom 2 ME if you can live without Micro-SD expandable storage.... It's a great tablet for the money.
