    What tablet apps

    Hi all,

So I bought a tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab2) for convenient comfortable browsing, bit of email, books & music, possibly BBC iplayer and/or film watching. Seems good and works well. I had tried some cheaper tablets but they were not so good collecting my wifi signal.

I do have two questions that I would appreciate some Hexus help with.

The first is printing - Any apps you recommend that will alow me to print to my network printer (HPL7780)? I have downloaded an HP app but it seems only to address wireless printers and although the option exists with the printer I prefer it directly attached to my network.

Second is apps - what apps would you recommend as useful to a tablet user?

    Many thanks

Best ebook reader I have found is Mantano Reader Pro.
    For UK bargains try heatdroid
If you need a file explorer try es file explorer.

I used to use HP e-print home and biz and it worked fine for my networked Photosmart 2570 - perhaps you just need to fiddle with the settings more?

    Re: What tablet apps

https://support.google.com/cloudprint/ is great if your printer supports it or if you have an always on PC on the network.

As for tab apps there only a few I use:

    Chrome - Browser of choice
MX Player / Dice Player - Media players of choice, if one doesn't play something the other will and Dice supports SMB shares for streaming off the home server.
    Netflix - It's urrr Netflix.
    Tapatalk - Forum app.
    Feedly - RRS Reader.
Mango - My fave manga reader, not on playstore so google it.
Komik - Best comic reader I've found.

There are some good games out and about, a few that come to mind are:

Battleheart - Good looking touch RPG thing.
GTA 3 (if you can get over the touch controls, I just try not to drive and all is OK )
Max Payne 1 - Ported version of the 1st game, touch controls aren't bad.
Mass Effect Infiltrator - I was surprised by this one, enjoyed playing it.
The Room - Beautiful 'room escape' game (but trying to get INTO things instead) - Just won a load of awards.
Broken Sword: Directors Cut - Ported version of the original PC game, works great with touch.
Frozen Synapse - Awesome but infuriating turn based tactical shooter thingy

and its not much of an issue now I'm on a 7inch tab but when I had my 10inch I couldn't use it without Thumb Keyboard.
