Samsung Galaxy Note 2 + Galaxy S3

Hi,

I have a Galaxy note 2 does anybody here know the REAL reason behind delaying this update so much?

I know some websites say the issues lies with the S3 not having enough RAM some say it's due to the S4 being such a hit they don't want people/customers to by an older phone with most of the features and also they claim it's TW that's an issue. Any way getting to the point who thinks they do know the answer to why the update has been set-back/delayed for this long or at least the most likely reason?

Was than an official date? If so, presumably they gave a press release when they changed it?

Well it's not 100% official it was a news source from SAMMobile which if you flowed their site your find scarley similar to what happens.

Ah, but what I mean is, if they hadn't actually released a date, then they can't have delayed it.

What I expect happened is someone else thought they might be releasing on a certain date, but actually they're not. Now there might be some kind of internal delay, or there might not, but if they didn't actually give a release date then they're not delaying either.

You are missing the 'Other' option on your poll... Looks like Samsung may have decided to wait so they could skip 4.2 and go straight to 4.3 instead.

God Sake I added that to the poll That was the 2nd from top poll question tbh never mind ill add it again.

I see what you mean but there kind of have just carried on delaying it because at the S4 release they said it would be that new OS would be coming SOON to the S3 and N2 fine not a date but im pretty sure when somebody says soon they don't mean just under 4 months...

Another example of not using soon correctly is saying Christmas is soon on the 1st of January. Nevermind I'll stop ranting and hope they give 4.2/4.3/5.0 to my N2 Soon.

yep, TW issues no doubt. they just gonna skip this update and wait for the next..
