Question Re: iPhone 5 - Is it worth it?

Patent pending apps from Apple -

    1. iSleep – “Tries” to prevents users from having nightmares of getting a new iPhone AGAIN!

    2. iFart - Informs others that the person sitting beside the user farted; and not the user himself.

    3. iSnore - Makes snoring sounds that's louder than the users' actual ones.

    4. iSuck - Indicates that the user of the iPhone really sucks!

No. Just no. Ever. Buy a nexus instead and live a happy life.

Re: iPhone 5 - Is it worth it?

how have I not seen this thread until now? Ah because it's a month and a half dead already. Thread resurrection at its finest Wizzerak.

In answer to the OP. NO. Apple products are rarely worth it. The last one that was IMO was the Ipod Nano 2nd gen. Everything since then has been overpriced.

Definitely buy a Nexus if you can stand Android. But otherwise, the iPhone is the best choice.

Re: iPhone 5 - Is it worth it?

Tbf ive got a Samsung galaxy s3, I was very impressed when I first got it and ive never been so impressed in some of the things that phone can do.

Android definitely are the way forward and you can pick them on contract for pretty decent prices.

Tesco/02 have got some good deals on the go and they now have 4G coverage for an extra £2.50 a month or something.

Yeah I did. But this seems like a cool community and I recently left my previous one so I honestly do plan on staying.

Thanks. I admit to signing up to get the scan offer but apparently it doesn't work anyway. Oh well.

And welcome. The Scan offer should work unless you are registered from another forum, when the T&Cs from that forum will apply. If you are eligible to join from here, the registration takes place from the next day.

No offence, but you kind of have to think that if you've spent that much money on the thing. The question is more is it really worth the price. A large number of people here think not.

Re: iPhone 5 - Is it worth it?

When it comes down to it:
Is it worth it for the hardware - Spec sheets would say no.
Is it worth it for the OS/Apple ecosystem, maybe.

It comes down to what you are after but, (as is generally the case with Apple) as piece of hardware it is not worth the asking price.

Re: iPhone 5 - Is it worth it?

thanks for reminding, you're right, it's really expensive in price, i mean it's ok because i like the OS ecosystem
