Don't get me wrong, it's fine for Facebook and hexus, most of the time. And that's the point, most of the time. Sometimes it's just doesn't connect even though it's showing signal. Compared to other companies I've been with, for Internet is not as good. Calling is as good as any, if not better than 3 from experience

I have a 3, O2 and an EE phone, the coverage of the EE one blows away both of the other two. O2 is pretty poor to be completely honest, consistently find myself in black spots with them. I used to have a vodaphone and it was pretty decent though so im surprised yours is bad.

I travel around a lot as well so i get a pretty good idea of overall coverage for the various operators.

Re: Upgrade is coming soon, stumped on what to get.

I live in a semi rural area, they don't even have 4G in one of major towns near me in Bucks. Their 3G is crap with an excuse of them putting in their 4G network.

The reason I've never changed is I'm big on customer service and they have always been top notch (for me anyway) and that's what I don't mind paying for.

Just did a coverage checker on EE's website (not sure how accurate they are) and it has complete 4G coverage in and around my area. £19.99 gets me 2k minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of 4G.

EE Customer service is not bad... but its hard to judge as generally it all depends on luck of the draw. Some days you get someone who can barely speak english and doesn't know what a phone is, other days you get a very intelligent fluent English speaker (or a Geordie )who knows exactly what they are doing.
