    SPOT watches in UK

    Hi All,

Anyone know if Microsoft have any plans to launch a SPOT service in the UK, like they have in the States?

I think it stands for Smart Personal Object Technology and it is a service that rolls out features commonly associated with mobile phones, such as news, weather, events and the ability to receive forwarded text messages etc to specially manufactured wrist-watches.

I've not heard anything about it tbh. Sounds interesting though...

or is it just MS trying to hard to make something else seem different?
