    Nokia 8850

    I have an old nokia 8850 and it seems to restart approx 1minute after you receive a call.
    Any ideas?

    knackered....it could be a battery problem (nok batteries are quite cheap?) but if that doesnt solve it, wihhc im not sure if it will, i doubt ull be able to repair it

    If you are still using the same battery that was purchased with the phone, the battery is probably knackered. I work in a service centre, and the most common problem with that generation of phones (apart from liquid damage...) is that no-one realises that the batteries don't perform well after a year or so of decent usage.

    If a replacement battery doesn't help, get a t6 torx driver, open up the phone (you should be esd protected, but don't worry too much), and clean up the contacts on the pcb with isopropanol (DONT use meths) and a conductive brush.

    If that doesn't work, bin it.
