The best budget mobile but with a half-decent camera?

I'm thinking about upgrading my current mobile, which is a Motorola G2. I'm not really bothered about the speed or graphics of a new phone, as I don't use it for gaming, but I would like a half-decent camera, especially one that can produce reasonable images indoors under relatively low-light conditions. Can anyone recommend a suitable mobile in about the £150-ish range? Back in the day, Nokia had a good rep for their mobile cameras, I wondered whether that's still the case?

I use a G4 and its fine, nice and smooth, fast, decent camera Fitted a 128GB SD card so it carries all my music too.,

Re: The best budget mobile but with a half-decent camera?

If you want a still decent phone that is good for photos get the origonal pixel refurbished. May be old for a phone lifecycle now but performance in photos and general usage melts my nokia 7 plus (200). And that's sub £100 (pixel). If you want something newer get a pocofone f1 which is exceptional for it's general value (£250). What advice are you looking for?

Would also agree with the secondhand Pixel recommendation, in fact you can get a Pixel 2 for around £200 and that would blow anything else at that price point out of the water camera wise.

I would personally go for a second hand galaxy s7 which could probably be had for around 130-160 ish. I had one for a long and only really changed phones because my contract ended.

If you're going for a used Pixel, get it from somewhere that you know will honour returns. Some Pixels had battery issues after a year or so - the battery would fully discharge within an hour or two.

Sorry I forgot to update this thread. Life got in the way, as ever...
Anyway, thanks for all the advice...in the end I went for quite a big upgrade over my Motorola G....I bought a Pixel 3a It has an incredible camera, and the night-time photos are pretty amazing too. Android 9 takes a bit of getting used too, but so far I'm very happy with the upgrade

Came here to advise Pixel 3a, but see you already bought it! How does it "feel" after using it for a while, menus or app openings sluggish or smooth? I am actually thinking of getting one purely for the camera and bring it with me on holidays instead of my daily phone.

P30 lite has a great camera and is relatively cheap.
