Casing and firmware.
Bit like T68/T68i
not sure what diff is, but the T610 was a great phone, had one myself, bt needed a contract change. V nice phone
T610 - CSTN Screen
T630 - TFT Screen (better in sunlight)
Otherwise nothing, bar design. I preffer the T630 in black, but the T610 to the T630 in white if that makes any sense.
Here's a specs comparison http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3...9&idPhone1=405
great thanks mate, t630 it is then
I can highly recommend getting a data cable or bluetooth/irda adaptor for any SE. You can download huge amounts of themes from places like www.deviantart.com and there are usually a few zip files with 1000s of ringtones on www.esato.com's forums.
Float's Mobile Agent is also a must have.
also myt610.net have loads of themes/backgrounds/ringtones/games if you text alot with the t6x0 phone you'll notice that its a lot slower than a nokia for the delay between tapping some keys and them coming up on screen, but it does allow you to look through alternative words with the joystick rather than hitting * and not knowing what word you are going to get next swings and roundabouts
You can speed it up a little by switching off unnecessary dictionaries like French and German.
you can update the t610 to the t630 via firmware...as you could with the t68/t68i I used to have.

True, but the screen won't change.
I've just the t610 so what does the update do? I really hoped you could trasfer songs on to this phone
"Convert T610 to T630 to improve screen contrast issues, adds ability to take pictures in 640 x 480 fotmat"
Though I can't confirm this.
I thought you could put a memory card in it Awell to unlocking the thing and getting a cable for the songsOriginally Posted by streetster
You can put ringtones on it, but no 'real' music like MP3s or AACs. None of the T series can play MP3s, only the K, S, D, V, W, P series and Z800 can do that. Its an oldish phone which came out in 2003.
