    Hotmail on a Mobile

I used to pick up emails from my hotmail.com account over my phone (nokia 6610i) using the GPRS conection.
    - BUt for some reason i can seam to do it for my new hotmail.co.uk account.

    There options are:
    Hotmail.com
    Msn.com
    Hotmail.co.jp
    Other Email
    Phone #
    Create passport.

Ive tryed "other email" to no avial.
    - Is it just not possable to pick up emails form a .co.uk hotmail account?
    - Or am i missing somthing here?

    Thanks, Daniel

    Ah well,

I have my own domain name, with serveral email addresses, each a pop3 box, and.or emial fwding.
    - But i have a hotmail account to use MSN, which is what everyone at uni uses, and hotmail in conventent as its wel-based (and free)

Can you pick up emails off Gmail on your phone?

Gmail works fine from a mobile, you can set it to POP mail and then download it.

I do it using my MDA Pro, it works no probs. It can be set to archive all messages that are fully downloaded, so you can still read them online from a proper pc even after getting them with your phone.

Another vote for gmail. Why use Hotmail anyway, it's terrible. I REALLY recommend you drop hotmail for Gmail (or even Yahoo maybe which will also work). While your are in that change over period, letting people know your new address, i think you can forward all your hotmail to gmail.

You can set it up so after downloading the mail to your PC or mobile it can be either saved in gmail or deleted.

look in the configuration instructions section,it has all the server info etc, use other when it asks you what software, and enter it on the phone according to the phone manual:
