About LinkBacksI happened to be in PC World today while my mum did some shopping and i saw this Norton 360! What is it? From what i can gather it is all of there products rolled into one!
I currently use Norton Internet Security 2007!

I think Norton is a decent all around anti-badness software package. A lot of other packages are more aimed at experienced computer users. Norton just does everything for you which is particularly handy, saving you any headaches.

iirc a few years ago in a test i think it missed a year old virus

People slate it because it is a total System-hog - it eats up so many resources its almost unbelievable..as an example just see how much faster your PC boots up without norton installed..huge difference.
Using another AV on a system with 256mb or 512mb (so when the swap file gets used) is the equivalent of going from a 5,400rpm hard drive to a Raptor in my experience. The difference really is that much.
Of course, the problem with that is that 80% of the time, Norton just won't uninstall. It just can't do it, despite using Windows Installer. Quite a remarkable feat. You usually have to get the online uninstaller to do it :S
norton is TERRIBLE, no-one truly understands how bad till they use something else.
