How do you move/copy files in Vista?

I'm curious as one of the things I really like in XP is the "Common Tasks" in Explorer where you can Move, Copy, Print and Delete files, folders, etc.

Now I have Vista installed and have been playing with it for a while. It seems to lack the "Common Tasks" that XP had and I don't see how to easily copy files from one place to another.

So how do you copy/ move files in Vista.

erm... I select the files, right click them then select cut/copy, browse to the location I want to put them and select right click then paste.

Or am I missing your pioint entirely?

Goto Bios, select boot from cd/dvd drive.

Insert Windows XP cd, and when prompted press any key to boot from disc.

From here format Vista and reinstall XP - Problems solved.

I'm still not seeing the issue - Vista runs far smoother on my new box than XP.

I have one particular file that I cannot move, copy or delete. It gives me the "calculating time remaining" crap and stays on that for ages. I gave it an hour and gave up. Think I'll try that Opus thing until Microsoft sort out Vista's file management.

Which antivirus (if any) are you using? What type of file/size?

    That's a known bug they're working on.
