Afternoon!

OS: Sco Openserver 5.0.5

Basically our tape drive has stopped working, so temporarily I want to back up the system using FTP to another PC on the LAN. While testing this I noticed that the transfer rate is extremely slow. It appears all network traffic is slow actually, running at 1mbps max instead of the expected 100mbps.

An FTP transfer between two other PC's on the LAN runs at full speed so I am pretty sure it is the SCO box that's the problem.

Any clues as to what I can look for to resolve this issue?

I have tried some new cat5 and changing the MTU for the interface (I don't actually know what make it is yet...)
