    how to delete previous entrys in search bars

    is there a way to delete all the old entries in search bars?
    (i get these years-old ones popping up in google, and just about any other text-input search/bar)

    Look in the preferences of your browser. In Firefox under the privacy tab you can have it not remember anything. I would guess you could use that to clear it, or better yet turn it off.

    If you want to do a "mass clean", have alook at CCleaner

    CCleaner seems nice at first, and it did free up alot of space on my hd, and logged me out of various message boards (including hexus) but then the sign-in window stil rememberred my name and google earch bar is still filled with all the old entries

    If it's Internet Explorer, you'll want to not only Clear History, but also go to Content -> Auto Complete -> Clear Forms. If you want to be really paranoid, make sure you manually delete everything in the temporary internet folder and also right click on the Task Bar (if running XP at least), Properties -> Start Menu -> Customize -> Clear
