Vista MCE - how to hide the icons and controls in full screen mode?

    Hello

When I maximise media centre in Vista, the controls along the bottom, mouse cursor, and the icons in the top right hand corner do not hide themselves. Does anyone know of a setting that I may have changed or one I can investigate to allow me to hide all of this in full scren mode?

    Thanks.

It should hide _everything_ in full screen mode.
MCE2005 certainly does. If the mouse is static for a few seconds, it hides that too.

Only thing I can think of is checking your drivers.

Mine doesn't hide on MC2005, but they used to. Just press the space bar to hide them manually.

Ah I just thought - Make sure your mouse isnt sitting on the bottom or top bars, or it'll think you're using them.
    Defo hides on MCE2005 here

Also make sure your mouse isn't sitting on a 'bad' surfice.

Optical mice remeber use CCDs (like digital cameras) to image the surface lit by the LED. As such if there are 'texture bits' that are smaller than the resolution, you can get an almost random like amount of movement back and forth, whilst probably not enough to noticie your cursor move, this can stop screen savers comming up. We have this feature on my desk at work, and thanks to standardised builds, i can tweak the grace peroid so my screen saver never comes up.

So my question is, does your screen saver come up?

Woop, this worked! It now auto-hides also so maybe I pressed the spacebar accidentally and it changed something? Thanks for the other suggestions though, much appreciated.
