Industrial espionage is simply the sincerest form of flattery......
Doesn't Right Click -> Sharing -> Network sharing work in Vista?
I mean how do I add a shared folder on one of my XP systems onto the vista system?
I did this on my XP system, but using my network places. I have no idea how to do it on Vista...

I've used Map Network Drive (under My Computer) on XP and I'd imagine Vista keeps that, then just type in \\PCNAME\\folder name. It should produce a valid connection to that folder assigned to a drive letter.
As for finding My Network Places, Google says it's called Network now, if you can't find the icon for it, why not try opening the MY Computer equvilent and typing Network in the address bar at the top.
Its called Network now and should be on the start menu, on the right.
If its not there, then you need to right click the start button and go to properties, then customise the menu to show Network.
