i just brought a another p4 online should start turning in point pretty soon
good man :)
A couple of my PC's had actual use for a while lately, so I've dropped down a little bit, got a couple of small units which should finish tonight and a SMP maybe two before the end of the day.
Will keep things running over the festive period and see how it helps! Bring on the top 100 ;D
Added our work server which is currently munching through
ahh...good man :)
Thankfully I seem to have resolved the issues I was having with the SMP client (decided to format and reinstall XP as Vista was having a few problems)
The system has been on for the past 3 days or so with no issues so fingers crossed there are no further problems :)

Oh, forgot to mension. I got my media box up and running again last night.
I'll get my laptop folding again tonight
EDIT: Laptop is back again as well now. Thats another 4 cores added in total :)
I bought a PS3 yesterday and its been up folding since I went to bed last night and it'll be going all day!
I'll also put my HTPC into use and my main PC when I get chance. Both have dual core CPUs. So thats a PS3 and 4 cores from me coming online.
If I can get my ass in gear I should have 2 boxes folding over xmas, now I've got the cashflow in to get the final parts.
And I'm off work over xmas so the PC's should be on a lot more!
My laptop it taking 50min per 5000 steps :(
Something isn't right. Need to re-install it again.
I know we've all said it, but the SMP client on Windows really does suck. And no, before you say it Hex, i'm not moving to *nix
How much better is it on *nix? anyone got any benchies?
Your name isn't Clunk, Sunny Jim.
If I remember correctly Hexy's Laptop 2.2GHz(??) C2D in Linux does an SMP unit it 26.5 hours while my C2D Desktop (in XP) does a unit in 26 hours running at 2.8GHz so the is quite a difference in performance!
