got any export filters installed? Also send the minidump, as odds are if its very common a solution will be posted.
you got any OLE going on in the sheet? Is it any sheet?
Does it happen if you create a new document, add only a REGULAR (non word art) text element, then save?

It only happens when i save a document. I have some templates made that i use constantly and sometimes i get that message when i try to save one!

OLE allows for one app to appear inside another. An excel chart inside a work document. But when you edit the excel chart you find its a full blown chart, not an image. Like MS or not but this was a technology quite ahead of its time.
Problem is its very crap. It can cause the kind of problems you mention.
