No probs - as I say I've yet to get around to building mine (I still need my domain at home for the next few weeks then it can go back in it's box) but the documentation seems pretty clear to me. And it's given me something to think about while bored at work.

Why such a high spec machine for WHS? I'd have just put it on any old box.

Played with WHS recently, seems okay but I just don't have faith in it - Win2k3 or Linux for me.

Thing is... it's aimed at the home user who might not understand the complexities or want to splash the cash on Server 2003.

    Re: Windows Home Server

I got a spec like that for no particular reason. Had about #430 quid to spend and got what i could :S

Dont have old computers lying around as i always sell them on.

I went for WHS because im new to all this and see it as a good way to start.
