Runing batch script locally to call network script

I am a bit stumped on this one

Normally when a user logs in, the log in script we have runs and maps their network drives, how ever we do get it where the uses looses the access to the network drives.

Now we can manually run the log on script from start > run but am wanting to know is their a syntax that we can use in a batch script that we could just run locally on the users pc to do this for us ?

IME, fixing the problem that causes the users to lose their mappings is way better than bodging it with scripts.
If its a delay related thing, you can download sleep.exe from one of the Windows server resource kits and add a delay before the script runs.
