NTFS file access in Windows 98

    hi

I've just coem to visit my brother for the weekend and as i needed a lot of my perosnal files i brought my hard drive with me. However, I failed to realise that his computer is old(ish) and out of date. It is running windows 98 on the FAT 32 system. My hard drive has windows XP in stalled on the NTFS file system, i need to find a way to access my files from the windows 98 OS that are stored on the NTFS fiel system. I cant use the NTFS as a boot and do it that way as the computer isnt of a high enough spec.

    In breif

    - I need to access files on an NTFS system from Windows 98

Anyone have any idea how I can do this?

Grab the recovery disk from Bootdisk.com

    http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm

Allows NTFS reading from dos - Not an ideal solution, but should be do-able

was going to suggest that but thought you had to pay for it!

Go for Sysinternals! Should be a LOT easier!

Whoo! It wrked. I( hadt o use a boot-disk to copy a few files over before Sysinternals would work but once i had those it worked like a dream. causes a little instability while actualy copying files over but fine from there on in. Thanks ppl :-D
