I am wondering if I run the following command from the shell
Export-Mailbox -Identity <MailboxIdParameter> -PSTFolderPath <Path_Of_PST_Folder>\<File_Name>.pst
will this basicly copy the mailbox out or will it move the mailbox out?
thanks!

it will copy , not move.

they don't make this easy! You have to be on a 32 bit OS, with outlook installed and the exchange management tools installed (all 840MB of them!)

yep its one of the things that's a bit of a pain with exporting mailboxes to PST. makes restores fun.

You also need Full Access Permission to the mailbox, took me a long time to figure that part out one day...very irritating when I was logged in as me and not a admin account.
I had to setup a VM with XP pro x32, connect it to the domain, add our range to sites and services, setup basic IIS, install 840MB of tools and install outlook just to use a command line tool. Bloody stupid!
