    iTunes, song ratings, and NAS

If I transfer my song files from within my PC to a NAS which states that it is an iTunes server, what happens to all of the ratings that i currently have?

Will iTunes be able to 're-map' my song locations, but recognise that they are essentially the same?

A second question - if (for the sake of argument) i list The Prodigy's 'Firestarter' as a 5 star song, would another computer that accessed the NAS also see the song as a 5 star song?
I'm commenting on an internet forum. Your facts hold no sway over me.

Re: iTunes, song ratings, and NAS

It certainly should do, star ratings are bound into MP3 files in the ID3 tags in virtually every decent media player going.

I don't know the intricacies of AAC if you're using that though.
